AIM
To introduce and explore the benefits of support and supervision
within a helpline setting. To equip participants with the necessary
skills to develop appropriate procedures within their own organisations
and to carry out effective supervision using a structured approach.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
Suitable for helpline managers or co-ordinators who have
responsibility for delivering high quality support and supervision for
paid or volunteer helpline workers.
By the end of the session participants will be able to:

Understand the role of both support and supervision.

Evaluate different methods of support and supervision.

Give feedback to helpline workers which aids in the development of
skills and moves towards agreed targets.

Manage the process of the supervision session.
