A GUIDE TO THE THA QUALITY STANDARD

AIM

This course introduces the THA Quality Standard and gives practical guidance on using it for self-assessment or external accreditation. It also explores the importance of quality within the organisation and what this means to the individual. 

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

It is aimed at helpline co-ordinators or managers who have responsibility for developing and maintaining the quality of their service.

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Define their priorities with regard to quality issues

  • Identify the characteristics of a quality organisation

  • Make an informed decision on internal or external assessment

  • Have an understanding of how to use the THA Quality Standard Workbook
