The
partnership contains a core group of representatives from 24 helplines
from across
England
. Due to
funding implications and legislation, it is not possible to incorporate
members from the rest of the
U.K.
Usually
one representative per helpline attends the partnership meeting.
The helplines’ spheres of interest reflect the diversity of the
mental health field. There is
also a second group of helplines who attend fewer meetings and generally
participate less, but their contributions – especially via written
consultations - are
nevertheless greatly valued. The core helplines involved are:
