Who is this launch aimed at?
The launch is primarily aimed at two groups, those providing and receiving care via mental health helplines in the voluntary sector, and those commissioning the services.  It will also be of interest to those wanting to know more about partnership working. 

What will I get from attending the launch?
The chance to hear Health Minister Jacqui Smith speak concerning Helplines; the opportunity to become acquainted with the three publications being launched – the Quality Standard, the guidance for funders, and the partnership commissioned public survey; a day to network and meet people from different fields; a day to assimilate and share ideas that could be useful for service development.  The work featured at the launch addresses targets outlined within the National Services Framework.

Will there be exhibition stands?
Yes, all the Helplines that form the partnership will be offered space to exhibit.

When will Jacqui Smith be speaking?
Jacqui will launch the day, subject to parliamentary business.  She will speak for half an hour, between 11 and 12.

How long is the day?
The launch starts at 11 a.m., with arrivals and registration from 10 a.m.   Business will be over by 3 p.m. , and then there will be an hour to mingle and network for those that don’t have to rush off.

What is the nearest station?
Blackfriars station is two minutes away, providing access of tube and rail.

Are there parking facilities?
Yes.  There is a NCP on Queen Victoria St , close to the venue.
